This is much cheaper than $1100. was thinking way up above lower nest about even with upper nest,,, still gota keep motor warm in winter,,, "aquarium setup not safe any higher up than it is now" so we would need a smaller cover with some sort of heat, or just not turn if temp is cold...wind is a big factor up higher in the trees. . the infra red feature would be fantastic - the removable sd card would be tough to climb up & get - how does this compare in price to a motion activated 'deer cam' ? - a full range pan & tilt cam is cool - but is it really necessary? - how about a fixed cam just for looking down closeup into each nest like Hornby has? Wouldn't a fixed cam be a lot cheaper? Keep the Axis 214 PTZ in the aquarium for panning and script presets.

Keep the Axis 214 PTZ in the aquarium for panning and script presets. after reading more about this cam,,, don't think its worth a climb up the tree for,,, your right about fixed cam as long as the way its mounted never moves,,,, those limbs up there are awefully small and along way up there to adjust
