I don't do the Facebook thing, so I'll put the photos here. If someone wants to put them on the E's Facebook page it's okay with me. I was out doing some yard work today and the E's were flying all over the cove as usual. I usually follow them in the boat, but its not going in the water til next weekend so I had no excuse to stop working. The E's have a couple of favorite spots to sit in the cove and we're lucky enough that one of them is in our yard. They like sit in a large oak tree that is on the edge of the lake about a 1/4 mile from the nest. They are pretty use to us and will land in the tree when we're outside as long as we aren't right under the tree. Elsie sat there looking at the water for about 20 minutes while I worked on the other side of the yard. She passed up a squirrel that ran across the yard, a coot swimming by the dock and a group of wood ducks that were next to the neighbors dock. It was obvious that she only wanted a fish. Stein flew by, saw her and circled back to the tree, so I went inside to get my camera. Its hard to get them both at the same time when they are out and about. I was very surprised that they both left O & S unsupervised at the nest. As I was crossing the living room to get my camera I see Elsie swoop down to the water. Buy the time I got to the deck she was already back up and on her way to the nest with a fish. This was the large bass she brought to the nest this afternoon.

Thank you so much! You're lucky to live where E & E like to go and we're lucky you love to get great pictures of them. Nora

Beautiful shots of beautiful eagle on beautiful lake. How lucky you are to be able to see nature so "up close and personal". Thanks for posting them.

Baja, that is wonderful. I can't wait to get to the lake to see them. From afar of course. Just to see them in the air will be a wonderful sight to see.
